Terminology: What are accounts in CRM?
Accounts are the placeholders for customers, prospects, suppliers, partners. The best way to explain the logic of accounts is to provide some examples. Accounts can be different for different types of businesses.
1) For a small business providing consultancy or design services: An account is often another small business. So the account will be a company name of the small business and the contact on the account is the contact person representing that customer.

2) For a training school or a kindergarten is might be: An account is a Family. The moment you have added the account for the family you can add the family members as contacts connected to the account. This way you have all information available. The parents and the child are all in your system.

3) We have also added suppliers as accounts: Just select the supplier type. It is not common to have suppliers in a CRM system. Nevertheless, MYCO Suite is looking at a broader perspective. The logical place to add suppliers and partners is where all relations are managed. Next to that, it often happens that a supplier is also a customer. Then you can simply check another checkbox in the type field.

4) You are providing services to design and work on Garden or interior design for households: The account can be a household or a family.

These are just some examples of how to use accounts in CRM.
