One of the communication tools of a company can be sending out mailings (by email). These can be for marketing, for updates/instructions to user groups, etc. One option is to do this by adding everybody in your Outlook bcc field. A more professional and efficient option is to use a mailing system. A mailing system helps you to build a professional email layout, and can do some handy tricks, such as using the correct names of your contacts in the opening of the email. Other benefits are that you can see who actually opened your email and that the system will keep your lists up to date, by offering the unsubscribe option. Keep in mind, it is in many countries already required by law to offer an unsubscribe function in your mailings. Another rule about email marketing is that you need an opt-in. This means that the contacts that you send an email to, should have given you permission to do this.

We are happy to announce that our CRM is now able to add contacts to Mailchimp lists in a very simple way. By making selections in the CRM overview, users are able to make targeted lists that will send the right emails to CRM contacts. We have chosen to integrate with Mailchimp because it is one of worlds most recognised email marketing providers. Mailchimp is a very user-friendly solution, they have a good support team and are keen on keeping their reputation by continuously checking (opt-in) abuse of the system. Another benefit is that the free account offers a nice bundel of 2000 contacts + 12000 mails per month for free!

You can have everything in place within 10 minutes! There are a couple of simple steps to setup this connection.
 

1) Setup a MYCO Suite account

2) Setup a (Free) mailchimp account (www.mailchimp.com)
a) Create an empty list in Mailchimp
b) Create an API key

3) Go back to MYCO and go to: CRM / configuration where you can paste your API key.

4) After you have connected the API key you can see a new button in your contact list. The current selection of your contacts will be exported to the list. You can manipulate the current selection of the contact list by using the filters in the top of the list
